ok here is the deal
first off I would like to say that this is a special Krystal head project im working on

now this is the 3rd head i have built to make this happen

the first has to large and had to many angles that where 2 hard

the second was just a bit to small and was alot smoother than the first

now im on the 3rd and it fits great i can see! and breath
its got some starting colors and the eyes are pretty thou not the final product

want to know how i made this?
well first i ripped the actual game model ssbb to a obj file and used a neat program to print out the polygons and then reassembled them this time with color!

whats next?
im going to put fiberglass resin on it inside and out
sand of any inconsistency ,paint it good and make her some hair! because she is game exact she is as good as the real thing

I generally dont like the over scale furry heads ,so i made this one as small as it can be to rid of that effect plus this will technically be more in the side of cosplay than furry

I will make her a Assault costume ,tail, some weapons and do it up right , ill even try to lose some of the weight i put on over the winter :(

but all in all you got a preveiw of this and now its time to comment

the mouth is slightly open and ill place a tooth rack
and the eye holes are in the eye brows and the inner corners of the eyes in the black areas
I hope to have her finished for Metrocon 2010 in march if not it will be starfox group for Megacon 2011

i hope to have the best Krystal cosplay i have seen the best and thou its very very good i hope to over come it
and i hope to do all the work myself like i always do , unlike the other very very good Krystal cosplayer

Also i have learned the style of mask im making is not called cosplay or furry , but its called Kigurumi which i wish to learn more about so if anyone has any sites for the none anime Kig please pass them to me , the more i learn the better a crafter i become!

depending on your skills i think my method is both cheap to make and probly the easiest ,other than face paint if you want i did i have explained it in comments

I suck at papercraft. And I don't have the neccesary software to use those files. ^^;


I'm planning to do a clay sculpt, make a mould off the clay, then cast from the mould. Kind of long-winded, but I could make multiple casts from one mould.

I've seen fursuit style Krystal masks, but I want to make a kigurumi style one, a bit like yours :)

i linked you to the free softwares but i have also done many sculpts to and find this method very hard , even thou i have the skill i really find the papercrafting easy but to each there own ,,,

I to have looked at all the krystal cosplay i could find and like the Kig the best too mabey ill redo do this at a later time to the point where i want to put pictures of completed suit up on here!

its posted out there on media fire you might get a pop up or 2 going there just close um

you need pepakura viewer or designer , i would get the designer version its free! just google it , you also need scissors and hot glue and some printer ink

if you just want the head only print the head pages everything is labeled properly in my file unlike the other one on papercraft paradise

you can resize it as needed with the free version you just cant save changes, the head is a wearable size just as it is thou! and she would be almost 4 ft tall if you build the whole model!!!!
